A PENNY FOR YOUR THOUGHTS

Starting May 12th, it’ll cost you one extra little penny to mail someone your thoughts. That’s right…the US Postal Service is getting ready to make some price changes, and the biggest change for most consumers will be a price increase for First Class stamps from 41c to 42c.

We’re pricing our products to sell in today’s competitive shipping market.”

The information below can help you plan for your postal expenses - and figure out a few ways that you can save - starting next month. Continue Reading »

well, I’m not sure about that…

When I heard the term Web 2.0 my first thoughts were You Tube! and MySpace! and other social networking sites.

Now when I think of Web 2.0 I see the future of the internet.

There are many new devices that are ultra portable “netbooks” like the ASUS EEEPC which utilizes flash memory “solid state” instead of the usual hard drive. This is a good thing. Solid state uses less power enabling the EEEPC to boot quicker. And because it is “Solid” it is less likely to be affected by shock damage.

The downside is that these solid state drives currently do not have the same storage capacity of the conventional hard drive.

But, with the internet… do we really need bigger drives in our devices? Continue Reading »

I had heard this before but never took the extra step to investigate. I was laid off in July of last year and carried on cobra for a few months until it became too expensive to manage. Paying for prescriptions monthly has become quite a nasty necessity. Continue Reading »
